A strong commitment to architectural simplification, high performance, and operational excellence is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesCore Framework Ownership: Lead and guide a core technology team responsible for developing, scaling, and maintaining foundational core frameworks (primarily Java-based) that serve as the backbone for a suite of critical regulatory reporting applications.Big Data Pipelines: Build, optimize, and maintain robust big data pipelines using technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Databricks, and cloud-based big data suites.Java Platform Excellence: Establish and enforce best practices for Java-based development, ensuring high-throughput, low-latency, and thread-safe execution within distributed environments.Architectural Governance: Lead the architecture governance process, including participating in Architecture Review Boards (ARBs), conducting technology assessments, and ensuring strict conformance to key design principles, security standards, and metadata requirements.Future-Ready Solutions: Evaluate and test potential architecture designs to ensure they meet both functional and non-functional requirements (performance, security, reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency).Strategic Advisory: Evaluate complex technical options, conduct rigorous comparative analyses, and present clear, well-reasoned recommendations to senior stakeholders.Global Engagement: Collaborate with high-performing teams across business, technical, and data architecture domains.
